Put your stone on any junction of the board to begin the game. Switch turns with your opponent, putting one stone per turn. Enclose your opponent's stones completely to capture them from the board. Command more area than your opponent by the end of the game to succeed. Use planning to prevent your opponent's moves while extending your own territory. Keep in mind that stones are stationary once placed, unless taken. The match finishes when both players skip their turns consecutively, indicating no more moves can benefit either side.
